Atkins Academy, although not strictly related to Atkins Associates, is our sister company and thus we mention it here together with all the other branches of the Atkins' family tree.

The Academy started out as a web based English Academy with the intention of offering food for thought and a little something for anyone who shared our passion for the English language. Since then the company has grown and it is no longer "just" an online phenomenon. It now offers 1-on-1 and small group tuition in a wide range of subjects as well as a mentoring service. Atkins Academy also aspires to become an Independent School and a City & Guilds Approved Centre.

In the future, Atkins Academy aims to provide a holistic programme specifically, but not exclusively, for young black people aged 14 – 19 and their families. The programme includes counselling, life coaching, mentoring, anger management, problem solving, Skills for Life, Key Skills, vocational training, employability skills, job search and work placements. With a focus on the Every Child Matters Framework and an ethos of inclusion, inspiration and involvement, the programme is designed to give young people a real chance to succeed in life. Although the main target group is in the Redbridge borough, the programme is open to young people from across London.
